Chess Coaching Camp at Dr.N.Mahalingam Chess academy
A Level-1 two weeks chess coaching camp has been organised by Dr.N.Mahalingam Chess academy from 8.5.17 to 19.5.17 at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Around 30 students from various schools in & around Coimbatore had participated in the chess camp. This is done as an initiative by Dr.N.Mahalingam Chess Academy, KCT, to produce more number of national and international chess players from India in the Kongu region. The trainer Mr.Mohammed Yousuff is a certified trainer, who has produced national chess players to his credit and is also the Joint secretary of CDCA.
The valedictory function of the students, who had successfully completed the camp, was presided by Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, KCT and President, Dr.N.Mahalingam Chess Academy and Dr.R.S.Kumar, Principal, KCT on 19.5.17. The Chess participants were awarded with mementos and certificates during the valedictory function.

Dr.N.Mahalingam chess academy was started with the intention to initiate, carry out, execute, implement, aid and assist activities towards the development of chess and thereby to encourage the young chess players in this region.
